      <image:title>Services - Active Release Tecnique</image:title>
<image:caption>Active Release Technique involves the manipulation of soft tissue — such as muscles and tendons. A pressure is applied to these structures and lengthened through movement with the help of a therapist. This helps to relieve tension and adhesions in soft tissue. ART is also commonly referred to as a pine and release mechanism.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Blood Flow Restriction Training</image:title>
<image:caption>Blood Flow Restriction is a newer technology in the therapy world that uses a personal tourniquet system to reduce blood flow to muscles. When combines with low intensity exercise, BFR training creates an anaerobic state for the muscles to work in that produces similar results to high intensity training. When joints cannot tolerate weight, such as after surgery, BFR allows patients to exercise with maximum effect and minimal stress.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Comprehensive Spine and Neck Rehabilitation</image:title>
<image:caption>Our specialized, trained therapists are qualified spine and neck diagnosticians. We will evaluate your spine and neck and create a comprehensive plan of care for rehabilitation. We will help reduce pain, improve alignment, correct posture, build core strength and improve overall functional ability.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Dry Needling</image:title>
<image:caption>Muscles sometimes develop knotted areas called trigger points. Trigger points can be painful and can lead to difficulty with functional movement. Dry needling involves the insertion of a thin needle directly into a trigger point. This helps to realign muscle fibers, decreasing pain and restoring natural movement.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Electrical Stimulation</image:title>
<image:caption>Electrical Stimulation uses electrical current to alleviate pain and improve healing. The current mimics the actions of signals coming from ones neurons, which increases contraction and blood flow to repair injured muscles. In addition, e-stim increases the conduction speed of signals sent to our brain. This lessens one’s perception of pain by overpowering the receptors that send pain signals to our brain.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Functional Movement Systems</image:title>
<image:caption>Functional Movement Systems is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies functional limitations, asymmetries, and target problem areas. A therapist will generate corrective exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns and build strength specific to each individual.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Graston Technique</image:title>
<image:caption>Graston Technique involves the use of stainless steel instruments to breakdown soft tissue lesions and restrictions to restore pain-free range of motion and function. This type of manual therapy helps to breakdown collagen cross links and increased blood flow in problem areas. The technique effectively rehabilitates chronic and actue conditions.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Manual Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Manual Therapy involves hands on treatment. This incorporates mobilization of joints, moving joints through anatomical ranges of motion, soft tissue mobilization, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation to restore natural movement. When recovering from surgery, manual therapy is the primary technique to enhance functional abilities and prevent the progression of impairments.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Pilates is a system of low-impact exercise with the following basic principles: control, concentration, flow, centering, breath, and precision. Movements are functional, whole body exercises with a particular emphasis on core stabilization. Pilates is an effective method to improve fitness and wellness. When combined with physical therapy, pilates can be a powerful modality for injury and post surgical rehabilitation.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Return To Sport Testing</image:title>
<image:caption>Through scientific research, our practice has been able to narrow down certain movement patterns in order to predict susceptibility to injury. With specific tests—such as single leg squats, hopping, and landing—it is possible to reduce the risk of injury. The goal is to test these patterns to assure that a patient is able to perform activities with the least risk of injury.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Vestibular Rehabilitation</image:title>
<image:caption>The vestibular system is an intricate design involving the inner ear and nerves within the spinal column and brain that result in overall balance and spatial awareness. This allows us to walk and perform daily activities with coordinated movement. Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) addresses many vestibular disorders including vertigo, dizziness and imbalance and concussion. VRT uses a variety of hands-on techniques and exercises to improve vertigo symptoms, enhance postural stability and improve tolerance to and performance of activities of daily living.</image:caption>
